Tone Commands - Overview
In addition to the 40 or so voice commands that AIBO can understand, there are several "tone" commands that it can understand.For W01 Aibo Life and W02 Hello AIBO, these tones are used to detect other AIBOs, in particular the ERS-11x dog. There are 15 unique songs.
For W03 Party Mascot, the tones are used for the "Spellcaster" game to allow two ERS-210s to communicate with eachother (the winner telling the loser "I saw the ball first"). NOTE: you should be able to play the contained MIDI files directly on your computer and have the ERS-210 react. If having problems, try adjusting your computer's speaker location.
Tone Commands - W01,W02
There are 15 Tone commands used in AiboLife and Hello AIBO!. For the most part, all the Youth and Adult stages react the same to these tone commands.- tone6.mid - good for starting conversation
- tone8.mid - good for starting conversation
- tone10.mid - good for starting conversation
- tone11.mid - good for starting conversation
- tone2.mid - for continued conversation
- tone3.mid - for continued conversation
- tone7.mid - for continued conversation
- tone14.mid - for continued conversation
- tone15.mid - for continued conversation
- tone16.mid - (very short does not always register)
